Eyelash Extension

Want to take your lash game to the next level with an eyelash extension? If you’re looking for fuller, longer, more voluminous lashes that will give you an out-of-this-world look, then eyelash extensions are definitely the way to go. Not only will they enhance your eyes and play up your natural beauty, but they’ll also help you put your best face forward!

What are Eyelash Extensions?

Eyelash extensions are a cosmetic enhancement that can enhance the look of your natural lashes. The extensions are made of synthetic or natural materials, such as silk or mink, and are applied individually to your existing lashes. They come in various lengths, thicknesses, and curl patterns, allowing you to customize your look to your preference.

The process of getting eyelash extensions typically takes around 1-2 hours, during which time the stylist will apply each extension one by one to your natural lashes using a special adhesive. It is important to choose a stylist who is trained and experienced in applying extensions, as this will ensure that they are applied correctly and safely.

After the extensions are applied, you can expect them to last for several weeks. It is recommended to avoid rubbing your eyes or getting them wet for the first 24 hours after application. You should also avoid using oil-based products near your eyes, as this can cause the adhesive to break down and the extensions to fall out.

To maintain the look of your extensions, you should have them filled every 2-3 weeks. During a fill, the stylist will remove any extensions that have fallen out and add new extensions to fill in any gaps. It is also recommended to brush your extensions every day to keep them looking full and fluffy.

There are several benefits to getting eyelash extensions. They can help you to achieve a fuller, more dramatic look without the need for mascara or other eye makeup. This can be especially helpful for people who have sparse or short natural lashes. Eyelash extensions can also help to enhance the appearance of your eyes and make them look bigger and more awake.

However, it is important to be aware of the potential risks associated with eyelash extensions. If the extensions are not applied correctly or if the adhesive is not of high quality, they can cause irritation or damage to your natural lashes. In addition, if the extensions are not removed correctly, they can also damage your natural lashes.

Overall, eyelash extensions can be a great way to enhance your natural lashes and achieve a more dramatic look. However, it is important to choose a reputable stylist and to follow proper eyelash extension aftercare instructions to minimize the risk of damage to your natural lashes. Eyelash Extension FAQ

We recommended every 3 to 4 weeks.

We highly recommend you not to, but if you do, please be mindful when you’re removing your make-up. Do opt for oil-free removers instead, as oil breaks down the glue attached to your eyelash extensions, which may be harmful to your  natural lashes!

Each session will not stretch beyond 2 hours.

Eyelash extensions have a life cycle of 25 to 29 days. Our expert Lash Technicians will also educate you on the best post-treatment tips to care for your lashes for the maximum takeaways. If your lashes are well-taken care of, they can last up to 1.5 months, but the results can vary from person to person.

You need to avoid any moisture for at least 48 hours after your service.

Before your eyelash extension appointment, make sure that you arrive without makeup and with clean lashes. Also, avoid using makeup and undergoing treatments such as lash perming. For your safety, you should only get extensions if you do not have recent eye surgery or infection.

Getting eyelash extensions is a painless process, and it's usually best to close your eyes for the duration of the treatment. It is so comfortable that you might even fall asleep during the process. The right salon will give you a luxurious experience, similar to what you would get with a manicure. After the treatment, it does not hurt as well.

You can keep your lashes looking fresh and clean by brushing them every three days. You can also use a special cleanser (avoid old-based products) or distilled water to get rid of any dirt buildup. Before using any products near your lashes, make sure that they are from natural sources.

Certainly. You can apply your eye makeup on top of your lashes after the eyelash extension session. However, we would suggest avoiding using oil cleansers and removing your eye makeup with extra care.

Absolutely. You can still attend laser facial treatment. However, you need to request your dermatologist to avoid pressing the protective gear on your eyes. On the other hand, for regular facial treatments, your beautician should refrain from steaming your face and apply anything oil-based close to your eye area.

It is best to attend our eyelash extension appointment at least after 8 weeks of your eyes perming or tinting.
